He had to be close to 6 feet. It was one of those awkward middle school like tackles where you just drop your weight and try to swing the other guy down and they kind of fall on you. In college I told it like I concussed him.

Our coach was really pissed at me because he essentially rolled out to my side and when I saw that I just completely abandoned my assignment because I wanted to hit Eli.

I thought this guy would just be a special teams player, but he's playing some considerable snaps, and isn't a terrible passrusher.

Not that considerable:

That's 2, 5, 16, and 7 from weeks 9-12(couldn't go back further but I think we may have only picked him up a week or two before that).

The good thing about him, much like Haralson, is that he seems to be making more positive plays while in there.

I thought it was funny someone posted something about Haralson being a godsend after the Falcons game when he only played 11 snaps. Had the poster said that after the San Fran game it would have made more sense(40 snaps).

Haralson has actually been pretty limited outside of the Jets(32) and San Fran games, and that's clearly because we were focusing on stopping the run(Ivory and Gore) in those games and using more heavy sets. Dawson also got his most extensive work(16 snaps) in that San Fran game because of that.

As I said though, it's great that when they do come in(much like Walker and Foster rushing the passer) the are playing pretty well.
