Anything he says about not meaning to cause problems or not being the bad guy is bogus. During his instagram
tirade him and his buddies on the phone were trashing talking the Saints for minutes on end.

Payton and Loomis should have been run out on a rail last offseason. The produced exactly what I thought they would. I think we will break through to 8-8 this year.

I like Keenan. He is just misunderstood. No doubt he loves Nola and the Saints. He was rock solid during his time with the Saints. I will always appreciate that

What number are we at for guys that have had negative things to say about the organization after they left?

Are they all lying?

There's always some nonsense going on with the teams Payton and Loomis are putting together. Its a shitshow.

And they acknowledge there's a problem when they blow it up for a culture change. Only for the same BS to keep happening.

What did Fujita say?

All I could find was this:

quote:

I am so proud of all the things we accomplished here -- both on and off the field -- and I'm proud of the role I played in helping this incredible city experience it's first Super Bowl. In planning for their future, the Saints just didn't value that partnership the same way. And that's fine -- this can be an interesting business, but I wish the Saints nothing but the best.

"We leave New Orleans with no hard feelings whatsoever, and have so many memories that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. New Orleans will always hold a special place in our hearts ... it's given us so much. Now it's time to turn the page and start a new journey.

"We're so thankful to Sean & Mickey for bringing us in to be a part of this great organization, and I'm eternally grateful to all the people of this city for embracing us from day one. We will never forget it. My wife just asked me to say that we will always come back to New Orleans. We promise."

Maybe he meant Shanle? Don't recall anything Fujita said bad.

Was wondering the same thing. Fujita still talks glowingly about the franchise.

The only one I can think of that had a nasty remark was Shockey. He went to play for Carolina almost out of spite, granted he was pretty much garbage after 2009 so it didn't really matter.

Said he would play for the league minimum if Dennis Allen asked him to play tomorrow. He's got enough money that it's not about that any longer. Also, didn't want to end his career getting carried off the field.

But he knows it's very unlikely Allen would ask him back. He basically wants an apology and wants Allen to accept him.

I get it, but I don't see it happening.

If that's really what he said he is so contradicting, months ago he did say he would play for League min to be on the saints but Allen has it out for him, then during his tirade, he said "I'm from New Orleans but I'm not bout to play for the saints again, they played me and I don't like Dennis Allen, they going to regret not taking me back etc etc" while his buddies on the phone saying "yeah frick them blah blah" and now he said on WWL that he'd again take league minimum. I used to cheer for this dude but frick him

he said some unprofessional stuff dogging the Saints and now he realizes that he may never have an NFL job again because of it so he now is trying to undo it.

He tried to do this by blaming it all on a Canal Street Chronicles writer

This is a little long but this is what Keenan Lewis said about Dennis Allen..

He said Dennis Allen never did like him from the start of him during the 2009 draft. Lewis said he went up to Allen in 2009 to introduce himself and to let him know that he'd love to play for his home town and would want the saints to take a chance at drafting him. He said Allen from the get go shut him down saying he was too small and didn't want anything to do with him and told him they have better players in mind (Malcom Jenkins he said) then eventually Keenan went to the saints in 2013 and later on Allen came back as well and Keenan said the first thing that happened with that was him going up to Allen to shake his hand and introduce himself again and Allen didn't like that. He also said that Allen told him that he planned to base the defensive plan without him. (Basically not wanting him) I forgot what Keenan said about why later in the future Allen still despised him but it was something about Him intercepting A ball and while running it back stared Allen down (not while Allen was with saints). He also said when he was released the only coach to shake his hand and wish him well and everything was CSP.

Take all that with a grain of salt but that did come from KLew during one of his instagram live videos from months back.

His intentions weren't great but I do think he's a good, genuine guy just not the brightest. He's lost in life bc his shelf life has passed. I feel bad for the guy. Hope Klew figures it all out bc I know he has good intentions in his life and cares about my city

All of it is legit. He came off as a cocky a-hole to Allen basically saying "look I made it after all", but Allen was a complete dick during the draft process.

Payton does like Lewis, but he's going to pick Allen over Lewis when it comes down to it. Unless Allen apologizes to Lewis (and vice versa), then he's never coming back.

In other words, don't expect it to happen.
