Don’t worry if they don’t go to the playoffs you get a credit for next years tickets

They pretty much have to do it this way, in order to get payments processed, playoff tickets printed, etc.. Though it’s been so long since we had a shot of making the playoffs, i had kinda forgotten how it works.

In any event, i dont really mind it because like someone above said, you’ll get credited for next yr.. so if we miss the playoffs or dont get a home game, it eases the pain next yr when season ticket payments are due.

you also can just choose to pay as we go along instead of paying up front. its the second option.

you pay when they announce we get a home game.

Don’t mind? You LIKE giving your money now for a product that may or may not be delivered in January?
Typical bull crap NFL holding fans hostage. Just like forcing preseason games on everyone

Why would anyone pay up front and give benson an interest free loan?

I dont think you understand.. if we dont get any home playoff games, a credit is applied to next year’s season tickets.. the only way you get screwed is if you give up your season tix between now and then.

I do agree that preseason football is the biggest racket in all of sports though.

I understand the money is applied for next season if there are no playoff game(s).
But they take your money now (probably do benson and loomis can roll around on a big pile of it nekkid) and you get the gratification of waiting a few months.
Typical nfl bull crap

I don't think you do understand you idiot

There is a "pay as you play option"

Let me explain this for you....

WHEN A GAME IS ANNOUNCED YOUR CREDIT CARD IS CHARGED

If the Saints do not host any playoff games then your card is not charged

They’ll up the season ticket prices next year by he cost of that one game, that way they still get there same income in 2018 plus the prepaid game you paid for this year.

You are the idiot. You have to pay the money up front NOW. If there is no playoff game they keep your money until next season.
Guess 8th grade math is beyond you.

You do have the option to pay once it is known the Saints will host a game. And if you do choose to pay up front and we don’t host any games, you can get a refund or apply it to next years invoice.

Straight from the Saints email.

As we enter the final stretch of the 2017 season, we are preparing for a playoff run! With the Saints in contention for at least one home playoff game, we are required by the NFL to begin invoicing for potential postseason games at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. And as a Season Ticket Holder, you have first access to all home playoff games.

The playoff package consists of two possible home games: Game 1 – NFC Wild Card/Divisional Game and Game 2 – NFC Championship Game. We offer two playoff ticket payment options:

? Pay for all potential home playoff games up front with any un-played game’s payments credited to your account. Ticket Holders who select this option, and choose to renew for the 2018 season, will have any un-played game’s payments credited toward their 2018 Season Ticket Renewal. To pay for your playoff tickets in full, you can mail in your payment -- paper invoices are en route with scheduled delivery by the end of this week/early next week -- pay online through your Saints Account Manager or contact our Ticket Office at (504) 731-1700.
? Our “Pay as We Play” program allows you to provide your credit card information now, but you will not be charged until each home playoff game is secured. To sign up for this option, please log on to your Saints Account Manager. From there, you will be able to choose this option and provide your credit card info. You can also call the Ticket Office to sign up for this option. Please note, should your payment decline on the credit card provided, your playoff tickets will no longer be guaranteed.
The deadline to opt-in for playoff tickets is Thursday, December 7.

After the opt-in deadline, Saints Season Ticket Holders who have purchased the seats in their account will be given the first opportunity to purchase any non-purchased playoff tickets (six additional seats max per account). The additional seat request process for the playoffs will be handled online, via our IOMEDIA Virtual Venue tool. In the coming weeks, you will receive an email detailing your designated additional seat purchase opportunity time window. As always, the process will be handled on a seniority basis and is subject to availability.

If you have any questions regarding your payment options or any other ticketing matter, please feel free to contact us. We, once again, thank you for your continued support, and we hope to see you at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome for the 2017 NFL Playoffs!

December 7 is quite a bit before the playoffs.
That’s the deadline. If you want tickets, they get their money early.
Why are y’all defending the slimy nfl tricks? They’ve been doing this crap for years!
