I'll be there rooting alongside you.

You ever been to the Northwest? You're going to love it. I live on the east side of Washington and prefer the snow to rain, but it's all beautiful. Just remember- when you throw your trash away at fast food restaurants, etc, be sure to sort your garbage into the proper container. If you put food waste in the plastics can or paper waste in the metals can, you're going to start a riot.

Seattle is a hell of a town and it sounds like you're giving yourself enough time to enjoy the city before and after the game.

even if I left at say 5 am?

The main issue is that you're going to have to take a ferry, which could be an incredibly long wait depending on how early you get there. If you leave at 5 am and head straight for the ferry it shouldn't be bad. You could probably be there by like 9:30 or 10

thanks for the info...

long wait because of the line or because the ferry wouldn't be running?

I've really always wanted to see that place even if it's for only a few hours.

The wait. It shouldn't be too bad at this time of the year though. It really is amazing out there. I went this past summer and highly recommend it.

sounds awesome...does the ferry ever stop running? I'm thinking of maybe heading over after the saints game and being on the other side for morning if that would help.

I'm jealous dude, that's awesome. $200.00 to go to Seattle and see us beat up on the Seahawks in a playoff game. Doesn't get any better than that.

unfortunately no...I lived in Monterey, CA for a contract and San Fran is the closest I've been up that way.

I can't wait.

The ferry you'll need runs until 11:45, so you should have plenty of time if you want to go out there after the game. That might be a good idea if you're not too interested in the Seattle nightlife after the game.

Should be a must for everyone imo, summertime that is. Outdoor lover's mecca, we have it all. Too bad you have to leave, you should make your way down here. Plenty of awesome hikes I can recommend 25 minutes away from Portland and near Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Adams.

it is definitely in the plans...my wife and I just postponed a summer trip to africa until next year so I think I'll take her back this summer and fly into San Fran, hit Yosemite, Tahoo and then drive up there for about 10 days.

I just so happen to be driving up to Seattle this weekend to move my daughter there. I'd love to go the game since I will be there already, anyone know if its a sellout yet?

There are always tickets to be had at any sporting event I have ever been too.

For everyone going you are allowed to bring food into the stadium if you want. Just no drinks like everywhere else.
