The NFL already came out and said this won't affect his suspension.

Hell np. Why in the wide wide world of sports would we need ANOTHER WR? The Saints already have one of the best young receiving corps in the league. That plus this guy can't stay on the field because he has been suspended for most of the past 2 seasons so again, hell no.

Well, I was sort of being sarcastic lol.
I'm sure some people would take the risk. We're 0-2 with a rough upcoming schedule so there's an argument of what's there to lose?

If there's a way you could make him allergic to marijuana I'd be for it.. NFL don't care about paternity suits, they support the spreading of their seed

He's better than all of them and that's not a knock on them either. Dude went for 1600 yards with Jason Campbell, Brandon Weeden, and Brian Hoyer as his QB.

So he gets suspended again and you wash your hands of him and roll with Cooks, Snead, and Thomas.
I'm not demanding it but I wouldn't be mad about it.

I'd take Gordon in a heartbeat.
The kid smokes weed. The shite rule banning it is gonna be wiped out in the next CBA anyway. It's not like he's a woman beater or a pillhead like Hardy/JFF.

Absolutely. People who say no are crazy.

No need to diminish his stupidity. It's not that he smoked weed. It's that he wasn't able/willing to stop smoking week when his livelihood was on the line. That's a huge red flag.
Still, his upside means you take a chance with him if you ever get a shot. He's better than every WR we have and better than any WR we have ever had.

Players with drug and alcohol problems do not do well in New Orleans.

Honestly, if he could stay on the field with a qb like Brees, he'd be a number one WR easily. Cooks could go to number two and Snead at 3. Deadly imo. But no, we sure as frick shouldn't.

I think the rule is stupid too, but the only way it gets wiped out is if they cave on money issues (never going to happen because too many players don't smoke) or give the nfl 18 game seasons (again not going to happen because too many players don't smoke).
You either find a way to cheat the test or quit after your first offense.
Only adjustment I see being made is adjusting the max amount of games you can be suspended for failing the test.

In a heartbeat. He'd be the most talented weapon Brees has ever had at wr.

Seems a perfect fit to teach our unprofessional and generally crappy under performing WR's how a pro handles his business.
