You guys aren't looking at the bigger picture. There are sour grapes to begin with considering Benson v's WWL/Kenny Wilkerson/Media access.
Benson now owns FOX 8 and Henderson is the mainstay at WWL 4. It's strictly business. I don't necessarily agree with it but Benson has always operated this way.

At the first practice of training camp Friday Morning, my brother-in-law and I were sitting in the tallest set of bleachers. He was standing in the media area almost directly down in front of us.
Bro-in-law and I hatched a little plan to get his attention. I yelled, as loud as I could, "Pigs have flown!" and my bro-in-law followed it with "Hell has frozen over!" He turned around for a quick second and gave us a smile and a nod and when he turned back around he put his hands behind his back and gave us two thumbs up. The crowd around us got a big kick out of it all.
Henderson is and will be a sports legend.

The way it was broken down to the media was like this. Loomis and Benson said that if you weren't on the Saints payroll, or weren't on the field, or had a direct impact on coaching or being coached, then you didn't get a ring. A line had to be drawn somewhere. Everyone can't get a ring.

I definitely agree that Henderson is an incredible sports caster and is a class act. They should give him a ring regardless of the beef with Wilkerson.
Speaking of "who" gets rings, I assume McKenzie got one but what about Chris McAllister? Do they give a ring to guys who played for only a few weeks? I would assume so but I'm not 100% sure.

Henderson did NOT get a ring. HE is okay with it. I think it's just wrong.

WOW, I didn't know he was on the Saints staff. I went to elementary school with Derek. Haven't seen him in forever.
