Jim Henderson - Superbowl Ring?

Think about it. BEST at what he does. Been covering the Saints for YEARS.....had to entertain the fans during DOWN years....HAD to wade through the boring games and COULDN'T leave the stadium when lots of others did. HE is as passionate/knowledgable about this team as ANYONE. I'm thinking that other "non-players" who are less deserving probably got one....whatchathink? The dude is a total class act.

Agreed....
Henderson is the best sportcaster ANYWHERE.....he's been around forever...he deserves it....he will be missed when he retires...

I love Jim Henderson, but he did nothing to win the SB. Only those associated with the organization or family deserved a ring IMO.

Well said....Fortunately I think he said last year that he intends to continuing doing it for the foreseeable future.

The people who wonder why Hawthorne is criticized should listen to Henderson for a quarter, that's how it is supposed to be done.
Years ago CBS put Henderson on one of the broadcast teams, but it only lasted one season. He is so much better than most of the clowns on the air, I never figured out why he didn't go back.
Give him a ring....c'mon.

Really?? The Voice of The Saints doesn't deserve to get a ring? "Pigs have flown, Hell has froze over, The Saints are on their way to the Super Bowl." and "Get ready to party with the Lombardi New Orleans." will always be associated with the NFCCG and SB run. I, for one, believe he deserves a ring just as much as anyone else on the team.

This is still fallout from Kenny Wilkersons banishment. The WWL and TP guys are Southwesting it with the fans - no outside media on Saints plane anymore.

The gameday caterer to the players' families got a ring. So the notion that JH did nothing to contribute is debunked. He has been the voice for the Saints' highlights for the past couple of facades. It is his voice that exemplified our feelings when Hartley made the field goal. He should have received a ring. Chick Yearns got a ring for every LA championship he called. They gave a ring to Avery Johnson for 2 speeches.
