It's funny to hear the "ESPN gurus" talk about our moves

"What are they doing?!?!"
"Trading Graham was a BIG mistake."
"Seattle robbed them!"
"The Saints have gone the Eagles route."
It's pissing me off, but in the end this team will be worlds greater than they were last year.

I remember a couple of seasons ago them crowning the Eagles "the Dream Team" and super bowl champs after the offseason moves they made.
I can't remember how that season turned out though....

So it's funny to you, or does it piss you off?
Hopefully the Saints will prove them wrong, not that they will cover that story.

Ignore them. You are giving them power over you.
When you decide to not give a shite about them anymore you will be so much happier. Don't enable them.

To be fair that wasn't the media it was Vince Young.

I remember Vince Young saying they were the Dream Team. I don't remember anyone else saying that. Maybe I wasn't paying attention, but I don't remember anyone picking them for the Super Bowl either

I love it...these are the same "Guru's" that gave us and A last year in free agency

Thats why I dont watch ESPN anymore. They dont know shite. They only have opinions, and not informed opinions at that. That and the main reason is they are just a propaganda machine for Roger Goodell. Ever since 2012 which I wont even refer to it as "Bountygate" because they made that up too. They trumped up everything the league told them and therefore they can all go screw themselves.

FAIRFAX, VA—Following a comprehensive 18-month study of programming trends and journalistic practices at the network, a report published Monday by the Center for Media and Public Affairs revealed that the majority of ESPN’s news coverage demonstrates an obvious bias toward shitty reporting. “Our researchers quickly identified a distinct and unmistakable tendency in ESPN’s presentation of stories clearly favoring overly simplistic, totally sensationalized garbage that barely passes as journalism,” said the report’s lead author, Megan Riordan, adding that the media organization’s bias is particularly blatant during its coverage of significant breaking news events. “Indeed, it appears that ESPN has a calculated agenda to promote the most mind-numbingly repetitive and obnoxiously self-indulgent reporting imaginable, meanwhile devoting very little time to well-thought-out, carefully written stories about issues of actual substance in the sports world. There’s a glaring conflict of interest here, and it’s crucial for viewers to be aware of it.” Reached for comment, ESPN officials refused to respond to any allegations of bias, instead stating that First Take airs weekdays on ESPN2 at 10 a.m. EST.

ESPN has become the TMZ of sports. Its not about analyzing. Its not about reporting. Its not about truth. It has become about buzzword, headline grabbing, pot stirring controversy. Its a joke.

They are idiots. Listen to them talk it's like they don't follow football. They only see JG high light reels. They don't follow his whole story. Dipshits have already annointed the seahawks "unstoppable" every season they trade away a first round draft pick (3 and counting) and lose guys in FA. Unger is a big loss for them as is Maxwell

I stopped watching that crap years ago. They do no background research except for watching espn top plays. c'mon man!

Half the media was picking us to go to the Super Bowl before last season, and to be honest, I don't think the team looks any better. I just hope we pick up some guys that know how to finish games.

when we were getting hyped up last year it wasn't anything I enjoyed either.
with all of the off field stuff going around the league last year the media made it easy not to tune in.
all they talked about was Ray Rice/Goodell, Adrian Peterson, Greg Hardy, New England's Balls, the Dez Bryant play from the playoffs... I mean shite.
they make it easy to flip the channel or leave your TV off... which ever one you might prefer.

The only guy worth listening to on ESPN is Bill Polian.

Any group of "gurus" that deem Russel Wilson "elite" are immediately discredited.
