Guess you could pay any QB $100mil but can't make em play like it.

Would Herbert allow us to afford a quality O line and defense? If so, let's bring him in!

It is possible to be a run oriented team without being the most embarrassing passing team. Running more would make things much easier for Brees.

I believe that this is what I stated: We need more balance.

You also said we would look like a Les Miles offense.

Well....that may have been a little strong

BUT with an elite QB you don't convert to a run first offense and shelf his talents.

More balance...yes absolutely! BUT when you have a QB like Brees...you ride that horse until it's time to put him out to pasture.

I think the Pats would be a better example than Carolina or San Fran.

The transition they've made in the last 2 years has been incredible to watch. I'd love to see us move towards something similar.

I think we should strive as hard as we can to be a top 5 offence and a top 5 defense.

It's to our benefit to do that. Prolong Drews career and build for one more shot...

I've kinda been saying that we need to start implementing the Denver of 97/98 model. Elways clearly a hall of gamer, but Terrel Davis and the rush attack made them a complete animal.

Yeah, I think in this case, with how much we pass, run oriented does just mean balanced probably. I think we are all on the same page.
