Actually what we were commenting on was the question of how good would Eli be with Payton? I feel that Eli would be better suited to play in Payton's offense in a dome. The guy I was discussing with came up with records for each qb and I rebutted with the Super Bowl concept he seemed to leave off. I can see how this could be misconstrued if you missed what I said earlier. I stated that it could easily be consider luck to win one Super Bowl, but winning multiple ones is a different aspect. So using my logic it is different.

I was answering the original question. What made you assume I was responding to your posts?

ETA: Just saw you were the last post before mine. Wasn't necessarily replying to your point.

Check my edit above. I usually hit reply to the last post when making my own post. That's my bad for the confusion. I usually just use the quotations if I'm responding directly.

Peyton is perhaps the most overrated playoff QB ever.

that's ridiculous

Not if you take it into perspective how much the media speaks of him as this unbeatable god among men.

I think its time Tom Brady gets dropped a few spots in the best QB's in the NFL poll.

I'm not sure about that. He still had a amazing season this year and he is getting pretty old though. The scary thing is Eli, Brees look to be in their prime while Aaron Rodgers still continues to improve...

Where will Rodgers be 5 years from now? That is scary to think about.

Please point me to a situation where Peyton was in a critical moment during the playoffs and he consistently put his team in position to win when he needed to be clutch. Because it sure as hell wasn't either SB.

Both AFC Championships that they won.

not at all.... however, i do think he has cemented himself in terms of one of the all time best post season quarterbacks.... drew hasn't gotten on that list.... yet

i have a hard time giving a mouth breather like Eli a lot of credit, but that last drive in the Super Bowl was great.... he has come a long way, but IMO it's Brees/Rogers/Brady, then Eli, Ben, Stafford, and then the rest fall in line somewhere....

A super bowl win is NOT a measure of the quarterback play........it measure of TEAM play.......the whole team not just the quarterback.
