I'd much rather have traded Drew in the off season (or last offseason TBH) and start the rebuild.

We're wasting what's left of his talents and merely delaying our rebuild. We'll be 8-8 at absolute best this year.

Drew could have been playing in a Super Bowl with Arizona or Denver and we could have been well into our rebuild.

Instead, everybody gets a shite sandwich and we're at least 4 years away from being relevant again. Yay. But at least we get to watch Drew throw for 5000 meaningless yards and take us from 4-10 to 6-10 and ruin our draft seeding again.

It's amazing how many people still don't seem to understand what a miracle finding Brees was. A freaking MIRACLE. Just look around the league at how many QB experiments have failed since Brees came to NOLA. 50? 100? It's really unbelievable. The only thing I can come up with is it's people who became fans after 2006 and don't pay attention to the rest of the league.

Not all of us are! Some of us agree we should hit the recet button on our front office and coaching staff. Enough of this schemey garage that we try to pull weekend and week out.

Bree's is a winner, no doubt. His arm is strong, his mind is stable, and his swimmers are fast. The only complaint I have with him is that he's not mayor yet!

Seriously though, the window is shut and crappily painted over. I don't know about this quarterback tree thing but I think there are plenty of guys out there that are willing to play for what their worth. We got a "miracle" in 06. But just bc we kissed the frog doesn't mean we have to marry the prince it turned into.

I wholeheartedly agree with Starchild. Their are some people who just don't understand when it's time to hang up the boots and move on

Actually a more apt analogy would have been to say... "We kissed the frog, married the prince, and did it all, but after 10 years its time to move on, get divorced and look for the next frog". The girlnut gang.

Grillnut gang probably divorced multiple times.

Somehow brees is an issue when we wasted money on the likes of Lofton, Hawthorne, bunkley, rogers, galette, browner, Bailey, chamberlain, Byrd, etc.

Let's get rid of brees and pay Fitzpatrick 15mil and use the other 15mil on olivier Vernon!!!

If the front office does not think they can sign him because they are far off, I still would not trade him.

Has anyone taken his posting privileges yet? Drew is the greatest saint ever. This is very disrespectful.

For the next 10 years of the franchise? No way. We should trade him today for a 1. We tank this year, get the number 1 pick in the draft, draft Watson from Clemson and have an additional 1st round pick. We'd be set for the next decade.
