Is it just me or would we rather one of the budding young stars on the roster get some nothches on their belt this season? We're gonna catch grill nutt in a 5-10 fashion anyways so we may as well try to build some confidence going into next season. I'm just as excited as the next guy this year, but damn, when will their be another season like the one in 2010

Seasons don't have years dude. Last year winter lasted until 2016. But the year before that the Super Bowl was right on the cusp of spring.

It's more like the Saints are not the best options for Drew Brees

It's just you. There is no one on the roster better than Drew Brees at their position.

For this season? Sure.

For the next 10 years of the franchise? No way.

We should trade him today for a 1.

We tank this year, get the number 1 pick in the draft, draft Watson from Clemson and have an additional 1st round pick.

We'd be set for the next decade.

Instead, we'll end up extending a QB that's going to be 40 soon and it will ruin our cap and any chance for success for the next 5 years.

You used Drew Brees on Grill Nuts.

It was not effective.

So extending Drew will set us back for the next 10 years, but if we tank, we can get Watson, who's a risk, and be set for the next 10 years.

And why can't we just take that risk when Drew is done with football? Seems like a good year to tank.

How many teams can even take on Drew's contract at this point in the season?

It's why the Browns have been such a winning organization.

I know right. As a owner you just drive out into the country and go pick you a winning QB from the QB tree.
