Is Carl Nicks expected to not resign with us?

Just read on the falcons forum to laugh at their fans reaction to their new OC and saw a thread where they're expecting Nicks to leave us? I hope we don't lose him he's a big part of our oline.

i could see this happening. does anyone think brees will also talk to him and try and get him to stay? a QB and their o-line is kinda like a marriage. but i guess money talks...

Yep, I think if the saints had to choose between resigning Nicks and resigning Colston, I think we should go with Nicks. I don't want to mess up this O-line. Remember when we let Goodwin walk? But you gotta think we're gonna franchise one of them and resign the other.

What about Colston? I hope we save some money for the defensive side of the ball. I would like to see us move Will Smith. He has had a good run, I just think it's time to go.

Evans' deal was the most of all time for a guard. To keep Nicks his deal would probably have to be close to the same or more.
I love Nicks and wanna keep him but i think we can find a solid replacement if we have to.

Bushrod, Nicks, DLP, Evans, Streif? Mcquistan, Tennant?
None of those guys were drafted high...they'll find somebody.
Charlie Brown's the shittiest olineman on the team and he was drafted the highest

Not sure but im guessing theyll find someone that we've never heard of, like the rest of the oline...and he'll end up being pretty good
