Matt Ryan hit many big passes down the field tonight. Ryan is a top 10 QB whether y'all wanna believe it or not. I don't understand all this check down talk, did y'all not see last 20 seconds of first half. Again, both offenses played great, unfortunate on Colstons fumble, shite happens.

Double Down, would you agree with my opinion that Ryan's stats are a little inflated by check downs that are turned into long gains by good YAC combined with missed tackles??

Ryan had 4 maybe 5 passes over 15 yards. Everything else was short. Oddly enough only 1 short pass was for Julio underneath.

Good game. I still feel like we're the better team. But it's the NFL and anything can happen. Especially against division rivals. Ryan played fantastic

In most other games, absolutely. In this game, no. Go back and watch the film, I'm doing it now. He stuck Roddy and Harry Douglas for 15+ gains quite a few downs. A few even got called back.

Harry had a HUGE game on crucial 3rd downs. Also, take that as credit to y'all's D. Your coverage is good. What do you want Ryan to do, throw the ball deep in triple coverage just to prove he can throw the ball downfield. That's. Just. Dumb.

If you're a fan of football and of neither team, I think you're right. Back n forth ot games like that are great. But as fans of either, it sucks.

As a Saint's fan, Ryan always worries me. His problem isn't talent. There are time when he looks completely elite, like just about every time he plays the Saints, he really seems to bring his game. He made many elite plays in this game. It's consistency he lacks. He may just make a few errant throws, or he may just not show up for an entire game. Sometimes, he just seems to give up on a season. There is no doubt though that when he's on, he can play with anybody.

It came down to who's defense sucked the most.

It is the NFL South, so all we know is that the Carolina will not win it

Hoodoo come shut me up.

I'm just getting started boy. Get used it.

BTW, what did I say that you disagree with? Is Matt Ryan a pro bowl QB ahead of Bress, Wilson, Rodgers, Capernick??

Was he a top 10 QB at the end of last season?

You said Ryan wasn't a probowl QB, meaning that he's never been to a probowl.

Now, son, can you prove to me that he's never been selected to a pro bowl?

Do that, and you can talk.

Twice and I'm pretty sure once was by default. He hasn't been a pro bowl QB in 4 years. His short time has come and gone. nah boy.

Sensing pressure, scrambling, making players miss, avoiding sacks, throwing downfield on the run while threading the needle into tight coverage. Not every play was like that, but he had his share.

Look, don't make me talk up Matt Ryan. I always thought the whole Matty Ice thing was ridiculous. I thought he choked more when the pressure was on than delivered, and I'm certainly glad we have Brees at our helm, but you can't argue that Ryan doesn't the ability to play at a high level.
