Just wanted to drop by and say hello! Great win over here but I won't be a douche. It was a great fricking game that came down to the wire, again.

I did want to point out that I told y'all not to sleep on ATL. I had been saying NO was good but ATL was closer to 2012 form than 2013. No one wanted to listen.

Anyways, great game! Both teams are gonna be good this year and that only helps both teams nationally.

Ryan was better than Brees today. Koetter was better than Sean Payton even with 13 point deficit. Nolan was better than Ryan playing with 1/2 the talent. Congrats on the win.

One of the most exciting games of the day I would say.

It came down to who's defense sucked the most.

The Saints won that

Saints defense made Matt Ryan look like a pro bowl QB and we all know how far from reality that actually is.

He's been to the pro bowl twice so I'm confused

Well, not sure what to say. I still love you my New Orleans comrade.
Guess I'll RISE UP above the comment.

I really hope so, that would soften this loss. Y'all need to be worried about that lack of pass rush though (as do we)

He's not a top 10 QB what's confusing about that?

HeadChange - you're 150% right. I've been a fan of ATL for close to 30 years and we've never had a pass rush. This years squad might even be the worst, ever. That's saying something.

I still think the pass rush will doom ATL. It's one thing to win game 1 without a pass rush, but can you win the late weeks without one?

Anyways, NO is still a damn great team. They're gonna compete for the NFC South - it's just gonna be a LOT closer than most Saints fans wanted.

Fair enough.

So our defense played great and Ryan is just that good.

Matt Ryan is a great, borderline elite QB. Is he Manning, Brady, Rogers or Brees? No, but he's right behind them.

I wouldn't use this game as a measuring stick too much. Saints Defense will rebound, Ryan won't be lights out every game. But yes Atl is better than last season. It's a shame the Saints couldn't perform better on defense though.

Abraham in his prime was pretty dominant.

You're basing that off last season plus this one game? Lol

I'll put Ryan at #11 in the grand sceme of things.

Double Down, would you agree with my opinion that Ryan's stats are a little inflated by check downs that are turned into long gains by good YAC combined with missed tackles??

How many completions did he have over 15 yards? Two??

Serious question and not a flame
