Todd Grantham's interview with #Saints for their DC job is over. Heard good things once they got into the room. Now, process continues

Ugh. Keep hearing Ryan is the guy. Getting nervous. Just don't like Ryan. He seems like a douche bag.

What's the word on Grantham? I honestly don't know if he is a good hire or not? I follow the SEC religiously so I know he has had a good bit of success. Someone give me some more scoop.

I feel you. Me and my brother were talking about this today. We really don't get it. I mean, maybe he's seems like a better option over a college guy or a position coach, but it still doesn't instill much confidence in me.

I like Grantham as our DC at Georgia, I really hope he stays in Athens, but if the NFL comes calling I understand that as well.

He brought fire and intensity to our defense, which is what we needed after some really bad soft defenses.

Basically he is the anti-Richt..so to speak.

He would be a solid hire for the Saints IMO, but one I am praying yall don't make

Jesus, that was like the first non-trolling post by a Falcons fan on this board in like a month.

Ya'll were still pretty soft on D in a lot of games this year. Super talented D but UF was the only big game where UGA's D played big. This concerns me somewhat.

I'm glad you posted in this thread. I've been wanting to go to the Georgia board for there opinion on Grantham.

He sounds like the type of guy we need. I want somebody who is looking to prove himself in the NFL and is just looking for that chance.

Does Grantham have any NFL experience? He must have at some point? Not saying its a deal breaker.

They ran on alot of teams...when they couldn't throw.

No excuses on that...but our D-line was not at full speed after 2 triple option teams that love to cut block

Forgot about that. To be fair. Bamas Oline was absolutely nasty for that game. But I see your point.

He was DC for the Browns at some point...I remember that when we hired him.

He was also the D-line coach for Dallas...and at the time they had a stellar line

They didn't run against LSU like that.

I think grantham should stay at Georgia, just my opinion.....

Georgia played 3 teams worth a crap....Fl, USCw, Bama, they got torched by all 3.

Fl was their own worst enemy tat day, and Jarvis jones.

Yeah a d-line that had NFL thoughts of not blowing out knees will seem soft.

I don't know if that was the case but it sure looked like it, seeing how they manned up when they were called out.
