Why would they give up both pick this season when they could give up the later pick this year and next years pick.

Yeah as nice as 3 first round picks this year sound.. I kinda would probably rather just 1 first round from them this year, and their first rounder next year. aka I would rather have 2 first round picks the next two seasons

Then again could get Gilbert & Evans or Dix and still get whoever in the late first. Or even then try to trade that late round first pick and grab the receiver from Vandy in the 2nd. Or you could almost get Clowney or Jake Matthews even with the early pick.. Could be nice..

Dammit. I'm going to have to go down to the airport and run this by Harper. I'm so sick of chili's. Fetch my shoes with the rubber soles.

If they want to be that dumb, I swear we just became loaded up like how they did for RG3 (cept we're playoff/championship contenders)

They traded the 2012 #2 pick for the 2012 #6, 2013 1st, 2014 1st, and the 2012 2nd round.

so net (+ 2 1st and 1 2nd)

They also traded the #6 overall for for the #14 and another 2nd.

Through the trade, it was +2 1st rounders and +2 2nd rounders..

We aren't going to get 2 1st and a 2nd for the #2, but we should be able to get something like this

jimmy for #2 1st, #13 1st

and that is turned into

mid 1st, #13 1st, mid 2nd rounder, and 2015 1st rounder

Net 3 1st for jimmy, sign me up. thanks!

No way that happens. Jeff Fisher likes his draft picks too much.

No way they give us 2 picks in the top 13 for Jimmy. Now maybe if we give them the 27th I could see it happening. But if they are willing to do so, 3 first rounders this year, with 2 in the top 13, sign me up.

His "sources" are either a complete fabrication or they're freaking worthless.

I'm sure St. Louis would rather give up this year's #2 and #13 as opposed to this year's #13 + next year's first (likely in the mid teens) as required.

Hahaha man but it makes for some good chuckles.

That being said, you would have to be crazy to pass up an offer like that. I don't think anyone will be giving up that much for Graham

One of these days, I'm gonna start a fake twitter with a Saints-y name.

Then, I'm gonna tweet crazy predictions and post them here; so everyone can go "Wow!" and "Oh boy!" and "Gee Willikers!"

Like someone mentioned before, I'm not sure anyone has ever actually traded for a non-exclusive tagged player.
