Got a bad feeling we will win this division.

Sure, anything can happen in the playoffs, but most of us know it's highly unlikely.
So the Saints most likley will go from a Top 10 draft pick (Top 5 if they hopefully lose out), to a late 20-to-25 pick.
This team needs so much help, in theory, they need to draft Top 5 for the next few years. But considering the Saints recent draft history, they'd probably frick that up with some busts. So they might as well win out this year.

The fact that anything can happen in the playoffs makes me want them in there with a chance. They are capable of beating any team, as they are losing to any team.
The draft is a crapshoot anyway.

Look, when I grew up this would have been a banner season. Always, always take the playoffs. There is a saying in boxing about "a puncher's chance." The Saints have that in that they have a slumbering offense that on a given day could wake up. Look no further than the Green Bay game this year.

Honestly the higher we draft, the more I feel we'd frick it up. Maybe if we draft a little later we might go for an interior o linemen instead of the speed rusher athlete who would inevitably bust.

You are 100% correct. Anything can happen in the playoffs and the draft is littered with early busts and HOF'ers taken late in the draft.

Saints have been terrible at drafting in the first round for as long as I can remember.

ill take the playoffs. weve been in the playoffs less than 10 times.
