Then why didn't the DB intercept it? Did he purposely deflect it 10 feet in the air and 5 yards ahead of him?

Replay showed DB was holding Stills' hand but, of course, no call on the road. League wants home wins to keep the gate up. Getting worse than the NBA.

The defender had almost no chance of intercepting the ball. Stills had a chance to catch it. I'd say that ball is caught about 5% of the time, is knocked to the ground by Stills or the defender 94.9% of the time, and hits Stills in the chest and bounces up in the air about .1% of the time.
