Who's gonna start in base? Tapp? Onyemata?

If that ends up happening...we severely whiffed on the draft.

Injury potential at CB makes that a bigger need

And you can get a tier 1 CB at 11. You can't get a tier 1 DE there. So you might as well wait until 32 or even 42 cause they will still have tier 2 DEs

I still think DE is a bigger need. We're screwed if we don't improve our pass rush...while also stopping the run at that 2nd DE position. It's close though. To each his own.

Those are easily the 2 biggest needs, though. I think everyone agrees on that.

That's true. As long as they hit on the picks...it doesn't really matter to me. It all boils down to what guys the FO likes at 32/42. If they like the CB's better at 32/42, I assume they go DE at #11. If they like the DE's at 32/42, they probably go top ranked CB on their board at #11. Hopefully they choose wisely.

In the end...the objective is to put yourself in the best position to take the guys you're most confident in.

I agree with LE here. Doing mocks on draftwired isn't science, but gives some feel to needs and the depth of the draft.

I think tier 2 CB will be depleted before tier 2 EDGE. I'm still a huge proponent of trading down to the mid-20s - Giants/Texans - if possible - unless a true tier 1 defender is available.

If Saints stick with #11, I'm likely choosing between Reddick and Conley.

I also love the idea of doubling down on CB or DE or both in the draft.

Honestly I'm really warming up to takk McKinley as a left field pick at 11
