I don't like these threads myself, so I'll myself. But...

According to PFF, Reggie Bush is the worst rated tailback in the NFL of everyone who has played at least 25 percent of their snaps.

Did we make out on this trade or did we make out on this trade?

I'll be honest, I haven't watched a single Miami game. Are they not using him correctly? Is he being used as a work horse?

I want to pull for the guy, but I don't have the facts... and I'm too lazy to look them up.

Maybe there's no correct way. Maybe leaving him on the bench is the correct way to use him.

I watched a couple of their games. From what I saw, they were trying to run him up the middle too much. I think they started to reduce his snaps already, so maybe they're starting to figure out how to use him.

Here's a running back ranking by Football Outsiders:

LINK

Note where Sproles ranks among backs with under 40 carries, where Ingram ranks among backs with over 40 carries, and who's sharing the basement with Reggie among those with 40 or more carries.

BTW, Ingram is ranked 7th in Success Rate, which indicates to me that his DVOA is going to go up as time goes on this season.

Well..lets look on the brightside. I'm pretty sure he as healthy as he's ever been right now.

They were using Bush like a power back, up the middle. He started bouncing things outside and TFL. And he isn't strong enough to drag the pile to get those tough yards. He's just not a normal RB, can't use him like that no matter how much he thinks he can.

This is the right answer. Leave him on the bench and hope he sells enough jerseys to offset the cost of his contract.

Honestly, he just needs to become a full time slot receiver.

They tried him up the middle and in the short passing game. But he started doing the same stupid shite as in New Orleans, only worse. Then they tried out the rookie in the same role and Bush got completely out-shined. After that he barely even sees the field

I thought he might do better there. I don't know what I was thinking. We fleeced the Dolphins in that trade. We were gonna have to cut him anyway.

not sure if serious.

All I've heard from talking heads is that Saints didn't utilize him correctly.

Yet we know how to turn undrafted free agents into all stars.
Pierre Thomas,
Chris Ivory,
Marques Colston,
Lance Moore,
etc...but we didn't know how to use Bush.
