I don't understand what's wrong with what Fleener said. He said basically there were players that went all out and some that didn't care. What's wrong with that? Way worse remarks have been made by former players than that.

Fleener played with Andrew Luck for 8 years. He probably didn't appreciate how a lot of things with that team went down last year.

This has been the impression of him. We will soon find out if it's true.
As for his remarks, the dude should've shut his damn mouth. Talking trash when you leave a team is bitchmode. Freeman was one of the lone bright spots of the Colts last year (PFF has him at a 90 rating), so I trust his word and actions more than Fleener.
I do like the Fleener signing (though it may be a bit high), and I hope he becomes a good player for us. None of that absolves him of his bitch arse move by running his mouth
