He's been hurt the past few weeks(should be back after the bye)
Played pretty well when armstead got hurt and I wouldn't be shocked if he starts later in the year.

He has been a project from Day 1. I call him Project Peat!!!!!! True he is hurt but the very limited action he saw before he got hurt was as a tackle eligible!!! There are 10 rookie OL starting in the NFL right now. Several starting from Day 1. As many needs as this team has, there are other places we should have gone with 1-13. Then we could have gone back to the old formula of finding a hidden gem OL men n later rounds!! Project Peat!!! I like it!!!!!

With strief declining a bit faster than expected it was the right call.

He does play... Quite a bit before he got hurt. If you were on the board during camp it's actually a pleasant surprise because everyone decided we were going to have to develop him and he turned out being very effective as the season went on.

Peat looked real good at times this year. Very excited to see how he continues to develop. The thought of Armstead, Unger, and Peat all coming together and giving Drew a clean pocket makes me want to fap sooo hard.
Not to mention we should add some upgrades at G this offseason...we could be in the conversation for a top 5 OL next season. Last time we were that good upfront the Saints were winning games in bunches.

His first few days in Camp, he did terrible. Somehow, it became the meme that everyone latched on to, that he was terrible.
The fact was he got progressively better in Camp, and he has gotten progressively better when he was healthy in game.
But people still harp on him being shitty his first 4 days in camp.
