I can see 12 weeks in and our o line being beat up and injured. Week 1 and we are already having these problems? How does this happen?

We get Armstead back and our line is back to normal.

Armstead - Peat - Unger - Warford - Ramczyk

The problem will be waiting patiently for Armstead to return.

Not excusing the Saints, but Oline play across the league his horrendous

Peat - Kelemete - Unger - Warford - Ram

Is how it'll need to be for now.

The O-line has been a problem since training camp.

We had problems last preseason and somehow they made a complete 180.

This OL looks exactly like 16's preseason

I'm surprised this wasn't the line change during the game. Hopefully they do this with Peat being a serviceable known commodity at tackle at least.

well when your starting LT and RT go down, itll cause problems. Gonna be a long year if they arent healthy.

The troubles were mostly at RG last preseason, where no one we tried fit.

Then we signed Evans back just before the season started.

That isn't quite the issue we have now. And honestly I don't think Ramcyzk should have started that game (even though he did relatively well). I think we should have done the slide out from the get go (Peat did very well at LT and I still think he is a better tackle than guard) with Peat, Kelemete, Unger, Warford, and Strief (then replace Strief with Ram).

I wish we would have kept Jahri. Let him fight it out with Warmack who hasn't been overly impressive. We need help here.

And isn't Jahri starting at Green Bay!!

We dodged a bullet with Strief only having an MCL sprain. He and Armstead should be back around the same time.

Surprisingly that early bye is helping us.

I am hoping we see Peat at LT, Ram at RT, and Klemente at LG this week.

I expect to see Bryce Harris starting at RT though.

Dear Lord.

It better be Peat, Kelemete, Unger, Warford, Ramczyk. I wouldn't even complain if LeRibeus started at LG. Just please no Bryce Harris or Peat/Kelemete on the right side.

The New Orleans Saints opened the season with depth issues on the offensive line, and those problems worsened when right tackle Zach Strief suffered a left knee injury in the Week 1 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Knowing they might need help, the Saints invited a few offensive linemen to work out at the team facility in Metairie on Wednesday, including 11-year veteran offensive tackle Eric Winston.

The Saints will enter this week with Senio Kelemete as the top right tackle, and Bryce Harris will presumably be the top backup tackle for both sides. Rookie Ryan Ramczyk is starting at left tackle until Terron Armstead (shoulder) is healthy.

Winston, 33, was primarily a backup for the Cincinnati Bengals the past three seasons, but was a starting right tackle for seven straight seasons spanned across stints with three separate teams, the Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs and Arizona Cardinals. He was cut by the Bengals earlier this month.

Earl Watford and Dallas Thomas, both 27, also worked out for the Saints on Wednesday. They were 2013 draft picks who were cut in September. Watford and Thomas have more experience at guard, but have played tackle.
