8-8 is my prediction!!
3-3 in division.
3-3 in division.

There is nothing unreasonable about that prediction unless you're a Saints homer. We have been 7-9 for 3 straight seasons.

espn can predict how my balls taste.

8-8 is not an ureasonble prediction but Carolina, Tampa, and Atlanta all going 11-5 is utterly ridiculous. The Saints with Drew Brees will almost always be in a game until the very end. The Saints will be in 4-6 games that will come down to the final possession that could go either way. Hopefully we win more of those this year.

I predicted 8-8 last year. I'll say 11-5 this year with 8-8 as the floor.

i said 10-6 so i'm stuck with it.
the D should be much improved based on what we've seen so far even though its just preseason. Normally I wouldn't think much of it but there has been preseasons where they looked way better and it rolled over into regular season play. That's not the best logic to use but for this team for whatever reason I think it means... something.
the floor is 7-9. That's what it has been each year since Payton and Brees have been in New Orleans.
for some reason I'm starting to feel a low scoring defensive game coming on in the opener @ Minnesota. That would be awesome if the D could carry us to a season opening win. Minnesota has been tough on defense since Zimmer started to coach there. Remember how their D played for the first several weeks last year?? I'm sure they'll be hell bent on not letting AP do much. Saints need guys to step up besides MT13 at WR. I think they can but who will it be??

So saying we are 8-8 is fine because we have been 7-9 for 3 years.
Yep. Past is prologue. I've said the'd be 8-8 for the last three years and it turned out I was optimistic. I say 8-8 again. I think they get over the hump this year and play .500 ball. Don't get whiney because some media guys aren't as blinded to your team as you are.

If that scenario does happen, Sean Payton will be fired without question. He has the pressure on this year to go all the way and there is no way in hell he gets a pass making $9million per year as NFL highest paid coach with another 8-8 season.
