It will be nice to see Brees continue to set and break records

3 healthy years and wait and see what tom does. It'll eventually get broken but Brees can put some good distance over 71k

If they don't fill major offensive line holes this year he'll be retired by next season.

The offensive line is currently on an upward trend, and I have confidence the team will draft a quality guard. Brees should be protected better next season, so he will only retire if he suffers an absolutely gruesome injury, which is unlikely.

If Brees plays three more seasons he will need to average 3700 yards/year and 37 TDs/year to pass Manning on the passing yards and passing TD as number 1 all time

The yards are almost a given. The tds will be close.

I honestly believe Brees has 4 years left

FYI, Brees will be 37 when the season starts, Brady will be 39

Also looking at Brady vs. Brees, Brady has played eight more games but Brees has nearly 3,000 more yards and they are tied in tds.

Brees also has a 2.8% higher completion percentage.

And there is still the possibility of Brady missing four games over deflate gate.

But both are playing at a high level so it's going to depend on whose play drops off first.

Brees has the age advantage but he also has more known injuries, including the serious shoulder injury.

Brees won't get the tds in 3 seasons unless we get a better red zone target. Definitely will in 4 if he's healthy though.

I can see him reaching 5k/35 next year if Coleman steps up. I'm not worried about Ingram or Spiller, they'll get their numbers.

The yards will happen barring injury. The TD's will require a 4th season.
