I don't have a gif in my extensive gif library that expresses what a dumbass statement this is.

Go back to trolling the rant.

Players wouldn't go for it though. This is the only issue with backloading contracts, when their play isn't even up to par with the average salary it becomes a nuissance.

The guy who has been sucking also played at a top 3, all-pro caliber guard for 4 seasons since then.

Jahri earned his contract, no doubt.

No one expected him to get injured last year and have his play continue to spiral downhill at this rate.

He rebounded nicely last year actually. Finished 4th in PBE amongst guards.

I'm hoping he has something wrong with him. That is a huge drop off in 1 offseason. Just wanted to point out the stupidity

After sitting out, he did bounce back, but the spiral continued starting this year for whatever reason. Last year, the issue we saw was DLP and Brown.

Now DLP is gone and is a top center in the league. While this is happening, our interior line is playing horrible.

All points to -> OL coach.

Once Jahri got healthy and Armstead came in, we may have had the best offensive line in the NFL outside of Denver. Armstead was rated as a perfect game vs the Seahawks who had the best pass rush in the league.

DLP only gave up 2 pressures in the last 3 games against TB, Philly, and Seattle.

He finished the season nicely with the 6th best PBE.

He's actually allowed the same number of pressures this year that he did last year at this point. His run blocking has been outstanding though

I thought that Kromer was more valuable than Petey. I was hoping he would get a Head Coaching job so that we could promote Kromer. Payton could use an offensive line coach as his OC, maybe he'd stick to the run and playaction more

Even so, our run blocking has been unbelievable this year. Hell, Jahri didn't look hurt on that touchdown run last week

Maybe its the fact that he played against two of the better DTs in the league the past two weeks. But that isn't saying much since he has to face Suh/Fairley Sunday. I hope it was just some small injury that healed up over the bye.
