Drew is currently sitting ranked 17th in total QBR through the first 6 weeks of the season. I know it's a far cry from what we are used to seeing from the Saints all-time great. Hopefully he and Sean Payton can turn things around and get this high powered offense back to what it has been in the past.

I do think they have the potential to be that offense and have the pieces to put up big points. We haven't seen the homerun threat that we use to see with Devery and Joe Morgan needs to become that threat. The loss of Jimmy will hurt the next couple weeks but Drew should be able to spread the ball around enough to keep the defenses off balance. Also hopefully Calvin is held out one more week so the Saints can come away with their first road victory of the season. WHO DAT!!!

I'm willing to bet that preseason injury affected him more than anyone is willing to let on. I think this bye came at a good time for him just as much as anyone else

I think he's having a down year due to play calling, o-line play and just some poor arse decisions on his part.

He's done. Trade him for Austin Davis.

The line has to improve for us to win games. Period. If they figure out what's going on with Evans and address it, we'll see a much better performance from Brees.

Drew has no arm strength left. What do you expect?

Looked into Drew's stats a little more and you are a bit correct.
Drew is 2nd in comp % at 68.8 and 2nd in YPG at 315.
Yards per attempt is a bit low and td/int rate not very good at 9 TD 6 int.
Only sacked 4 times which is among the least in NFL.

I think it was two years ago when Drew had a lights out, monster game, but was ranked 3rd or 4th that week in QBR, with the top 2 having less than 200 yards passing and at least 2 int's each. Have written off that system ever since

Our Oline play has actually been pretty good and Brees has made some good passes that show his arm strength is still good. Only problem is he keeps derping also.

deep passing attempts are down...deep passing accuracy is not.

...it's more a function of interior pressure, poor WR play, and playing from behind than physical decline from Brees

on Monday, it was revealed that Denver's Tim Tebow — he of the 4-for-10 passing day against the San Diego Chargers — had a higher total QBR than did Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers, who completed 26 passes in 39 attempts for 396 yards and two touchdowns against the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday.

PFF has him ranked eighth in the league in passing.
But keep in mind, that score is cumulative (and he's only played 5 games over 6 weeks) .

He was like 4th before the Tampa Bay game.
