We'd be rotating qbs like sage rosenfeld, matt moore, chad henne, david carr and matt flynn. Is that what you want? Is that what you really want you whiney troll piece of crap poster?! We have a legitimate HOF type QB and all you can do is talk negatively about him instead of enjoying what he does for this team and this city?!! Where the frick would this team be without Drew Brees?! What QB could the Saints get that is better than him?! Why don't you pull your head out of your arse, stop complaining like a whiney little bitch and realize that without Drew trying to make plays this team would only have one, maybe two wins!!! You suck and you are a worthless poster to this board!!!!!!!!!

So i guess when Drew retires/gets cut/traded the Saints should just hang it up as an organization huh? Because according to you it will be totally impossible to find someone who can throw a football? wow... I guess its ok to get paid 100 million dollars and throw 5 interceptions a game.

Matt Ryan
312/462 for 3,590 yards. Averages 38.5 pass attempts per game. Completion percentage of 67.5. 22 touchdowns. 13 interceptions. QB rating of 94.9. Sacked 22 times.

So now we're comparing our "HOF" QB who signed the biggest contract in history to Matt Ryan? Not Payton Manning, not Brady, Matt Ryan... awesome

You're more stupid than any one person should be and obviously aren't a Saints fan.

5 interceptions in one game. He doesn't throw five interceptions every game. I don't see you on here after he throws multiple touchdowns saying he deserves the money he got. No, you come troll him when he has a bad game. And yes, he had a bad game, but your comments are beyond stupid.

To an MVP type QB who makes this franchise run and does more good work and charity for this city than any other person in recent memory? frick Yeah! The market value dictates his worth, not what some crappy poster thinks after his worst game ever.

Again, beyond dumb. We will go on and I'll cheer for whoever the next QB is. But I'm going to enjoy him being here while we have him and not complain every chance I get. Do you think fans in Denver miss the John Elway days? How do you think Buffalo fans feel after Jim Kelly retired? Think Arizona and St. Louis fans miss Kurt Warner? I'm not even going to mention Miami fans. They still dress in Dan Marino underware.

I'm comparing this season's statistics, not careers or legacies. Dry your fricking tears.

Put up or shut up time.

A) What QB do you want instead of Drew Brees?
B) What is the chance of us getting said QB?

TIA

Considering who their current QB is, I'd say no

I dont want another QB. I like Brees and always have but to think we cant find someone as good or better when the time comes is asinine and small minded. I do not like they way he handled his contract in the offseason and honestly dont think he is worth quite as much as he got.

He strong armed the Saints into paying him what he wanted and left them no other choice.

His play so far this season has not been one of a QB that deserves that kind of contract.

Don't care what you think, you are wrong.

If memory serves me correct, they franchised tagged Drew Brees and his contract actually pays him less or very similarly close to what they would have paid him under that anyway.

What they offered and what he got was very close anyway. It's not like there was a huge negotiation on the numbers.

The market made his value. I agree that athletes are paid way too much as a whole and teachers and fire fighters are paid too little, but the market set the value and that's what he got. MOVE ON!

ETA: I want you to go to your boss right now and tell him/her that you want less money. I'll wait...

If memory serves me correct he refused to play under said franchise tag.

Brees is past his prime. His love of the the risky pass is causing him problems. They should have never paid him that money. He lost Alex Smith in the playoff and he gave the game to SF last Sunday. I hope they trade him for some draft picks. This team needs lots of help.
