Typical Saints trying to shove that square peg in the round hole. Always looking for "need" when the better player might be sitting there. I hope the situation is forced on the Saints because that Reddick guy will not be ready to start for a few years (IMO) Solomon will be long gone and I hope some team before the Saints pics Barnette, Foster looks like a idiot, forget him... So, I hope at 11# McCaffery is sitting there and Payton pulls the trigger, he'd be a difference maker in the Saints offense then go defense with the next few pics. I really hope the Butler BS doesn't happen just pic the guys available. Just because a player was good for another team doesn't guarantee he'll play that way in the Saints defense.

The only way I'd trade for Butler would be a ' 18 conditional #2 that could become a #1 depending on how he plays. That way Saints keep there pics this year, but that's in my dream football world.
