removed his profile picture, unfollowed the 49ers, and deleted 80 IG pictures from his account.

I doubt it's possible but think about Deebo in this offense with MT as well....

I’d love Deebo too, he’d be a great compliment to Thomas and Kamara but just like DK Metcalf you will have to pay him and he’s going to want WR1 money when he’s really more of a gadget player that’s half WR half RB. I’m just not giving up a 1st round pick AND have to pay him at least $15 million a year. The WR situation has to be addressed through the draft.

He's gonna command Diggs money > 20Mil with >70Mil guaranteed. When you overinvest in skill positions like that, your team falls apart in the trenches and so does your win %.

Yes he was in a short list of 4-5 receivers that are on the last year of their deals and ESPN talking heads are on the air telling them that there is no way that they should even think about playing this year without a new deal.

Samuel, Metcalf and two others.

Common in this day and age to get a new contract. I would argue, dude should get a running back contract! Lmao

Winston, Samuel, Thomas, and Kamara are still cheaper than Watson and Cooper

This is actually factual and insane when you say it like that

This highlights how great of a deal Winston actually is.

No way Kyle shanahan let's his entire offense get traded.

This quote is why this is happening.
"49ers WR Deebo Samuel wants to be the highest paid non quarterback because of his impact and versatility. Who can argue after what he did in 2021?"

Let's say we take Jameson Williams and he's amazing. Ultra productive on the order of Justin Jefferson or Ja'Marr Chase. When his contract comes up, do you pay him then?

Is the three or four year window (because that level of production would likely end up with him holding out for a new contract early) before giving him Diggs money really make much of a difference vs grabbing someone already that productive right now?

Yes I think so. It's those windows cycling through a roster that makes or breaks teams. The Saints recent run of success was built upon the cheap rookie contract windows of our draft picks coinciding with our high-priced veteran talent being productive.
