I agree as well... with Coleman, I'm where I was with Toon at this point last season.

Bobby said Grayson looks like he just got drafted. Not a good sign.

He was a multi year project, i predicted he'd take at minimum 2 years before he adjusted and that fine at the moment.

Bobby probably means he looks shaky, which probably means Bobby is shaking uncontrollably.

Not really. I don't expect him to look like a starter now but he shouldn't look like he just got in the league either.

Coleman is a good bit ahead of where Toon was at this point in his career.

Toon after one redshirt season and two seasons of playing time:
16 games: 21 receptions, 283 yards (13.5ypc), 1TD, 1 fumble
Toon was 26 by the time he had played his 16th game.

Coleman after one redshirt season and one season playing time:
16 games, 30 receptions, 454 yards (15.1ypc), 2TD.
Coleman is entering his age 24 season.

Toon was a seasoned 4th round draft pick. Coleman was a raw UDFA freebie. He had some bad drops, but he was improving as the season went on. Over half of his yards came in the last 5 games. That production would project to 740 yards over a full season.

People wanting him to be the next Colston had their hopes set too high. He'll make a fine 4th/5th WR, which is a good haul for an UDFA.

Coleman is just not that good. He's better than Murphy. But Murphy sucks, so that's not saying much.
