They must've heard that at least some of the assault charges he is facing are going to stick. That, and the inevitable suspension that will come from the league front office.

he wasn't any good when they signed him and he is even slower now and that's why they cut him

Yeah, I honestly think he just hangs them up. It was pretty clear he didn't care at times last year and anyone with an ounce of speed torches his arse now. He's got his ring and money, so I think he just retires.

Revis was def still good when they signed him but the contract was rediculous and everyone knew it. It was like 70 mil and you could tell he was slowing down that's why new england was smart to sign him to that one year deal. But he was still good when they signed him for two years

That might not be a bad idea if the price wasn't too high. It worked with Charles Woodson. Definitely don't want him as a CB though.

He looks just like the 2011 version of himself, he is playing on an all pro level and seems to compliment our current secondary perfectly.
