So what will odea be doing? Once he was hired Lutz didn't miss a single field goal and coverage looked cleaner. That can't be ignored imo

Which makes it all the more infuriating we settled for mediocrity and wasted the prime years of a HOF QB.

True. But at least they finally did something. Brees can still be highly productive. We all know that this year is make or break. I feel good about their playoff chances for the first time in a while. Had a good draft last season, shitty coaches are upgraded, pressure is on. Sign some solid FAs and draft some contributors and they'll be back to winning 11+ games.

O dea works specifically with kickers that's why Lutz didn't miss any kicks after he came on. Banta will help with other aspects

Dan Campbell, Dennis Allen, Curtis Johnson, Mike Nolan all have head coaching experience.

He's actually from Abbeville. We graduated from the same class - U-High 89. He came in 8th grade.

I played American Legion All Star baseball with Brad Banta back in the day!

i played ball with him and we grew up together as little kids. we both lived in Morgan City at the time. His dad was a coast guard guy. He got that height from his mother not his dad. Moved back to baton rouge and went to U high. then off to USC for football! great guy!

Chicago ranked in the middle of the league in passing even though they were a 3-13 team.

they started three different QB's last year and Alshon Jeffery also missed 4 games. So it looks like he had the Bear WR's playing well.

one guy who came out of nowhere was Cam Meredith. Should be interesting to see how their passing game does without Curtis Johnson.

pretty excited to see how our WR's will with him back in NOLA.

Pretty exciting considering our WRs led the NFL in catches and yards.

I saw an interview where Thomas gave a lot of credit to Morton though. I think Johnson is an excellent fill-back-in for Morton, but we should temper our expectations on the thought of getting better. Hard to get better than #1

that's pretty cool of him. With the new CBA and all guys can't get as many reps on the field so I think its even more crucial to have a good teacher out there.

A lot of being a pro is how much time and effort you put in but sometimes players don't have the best guidance from coaches. Its mainly on the player (I get that) but I can't wait to see how things turn out with the shake up on the coaching staff.

CJ is the best.

Did a good job with Meredith up there.
