That's great news! The coaching staff is looking to be much improved for 2017. Can't wait!

Good news
I assume we can stop with the "saints open to trading Payton" posts now? Or is that just crazy talk?

Saints have reportedly made a couple of hires…still need DL (which we hear could come from college ranks shortly)

Going back to the Campbell hire last year- This coaching staff, at least on paper, has given reason for optimism with the additions of Nolan and Curtis Johnson, and loss of Vitt, Bill Jonson and McMahon.

I'm guessing Bo Davis. I'm just really hoping it isn't VanGorder.

I wouldn't go THAT far considering the year our group had this year, but I'm really stoked he's back. When he left Chicago a few days ago, I had a feeling this is where he was heading.

Good hires so far. Hope they are here longer than just one year though

I had about given up hope. Happy that Payton surprised us to not keep failing the same way year after year. We know Johnson is a great hire. As excited about this as them picking my 1st Rd choice LOL

Great hire. Glad he landed at one of the two places I'd want him. This is awesome.

building a solid staff again, disappointed Johnson won't be at LSU but this would be the spot to lose. Can't blame him for wanting to stay in the NFL, move towards that pension, and not have to hit the road recruiting.

ESPN article said that's his position. He was the assistant ST coach with Washington.
