We win and Vikings loose and we are in the last wild card spot.

Neauxla - The Saints started 0-2. Have started 1-3 or 0-4 the last three seasons. When you are 2-2 with a chance to get above .500 and back in it you get excited.

Wow. We haven't had a winning record at any point in a season since 2013? Is that true?

If so, that is historically bad, even for the Saints. Like, 1970's bad, because I don't think we've gone 4 years where we never had a winning record at any point in a a season. That is horrible.

Which is much better than those dreadful years we used to have way back when.

If 7-9 is the bad times then we've had much, much worse.

I dunno, some of these games we lost in the last minute were pretty painful the last 3 years.

But yeah, plenty of worse seasons than the last 3.

Painful yes, but the point is we were in a lot of those games and could have won and had better records.

Back in the dark days we were bad bad. Like Cleveland bad.

Lol Saints expanded into the NFL in 1967 and didn't have a winning season till 1987.

In 1979 they had their first non losing season.

After Dome Patrol from 1994 they would endure another streak of losing seasons till 2000.

Our current streak from 2013 on of borderline mediocrity is our 3rd best streak of success in Franchise history.

I know Saints history.

I'm saying that not having a winning record AT ANY POINT in a season over 4 straight years - that is 1970's bad.

In the 80s, we were above .500 in '82 and '83, I think. Started winning more after that.

From '69 to '77, we were never above .500 at any point in a season.

We were over .500 at different points i the 80s.

We were not over .500 at any point from '94 to '97.

If we go over .500 this Sunday, it will break the 3rd longest streak in team history of not being over .500 at any point in a season.
