hopefully the team speed will improve on defense.

the additions to the secondary give me hope for that.

I think if the DB's don't get as injured like they have the last few years than that can happen. I know our pass rush isn't that good but the secondary has been putrid also.

I know that's not gonna have the biggest impact on how the D-line (pass rushers) perform. It should however help them at times to have longer to get the QB. Even if its just a few plays a game.. that could mean the difference.

that's about as optimistic as I can get right now.

Ok I'll bite. Cameron Jordan was ranked 20th in the NFL in quarterback hurries with over 23 a game. Why is that important? Because the defensive backs could not cover the wideouts long enough for cam to sack the quarterback. So the saints invested in the top overall cornerback and the highest safety on the board. So "wait" no longer the saints improved their pass rush in the draft.

Don't really want to look the stars up but pretty sure Kikaha had like 4 sacks and a few forced fumbles in the 4-5 games he was healthy his rookie year. I think we can all agree that whatever we can get out of him this year is great. I haven't completely written him off like some because he's by all accounts fully healed and ready for camp.

Between him, Okafor, Hendrickson and people forget we actually let Ellerbee rush the passer a few times as well, all that across from Jordan with the talent infusion into the secondary should do wonders.

We'll see how that all works out when the season comes.

Anyone who doesn't think that bodies of Kikaha Okafor Hendricks all of whom didn't play a snap last year added w Tapp who wasn't bad for our expectations and whatever comes of taliban Miami kid doesn't help the edge combined with Rankins should come back much stronger than his season coming off a broken leg will not help this roster is a Moran.
