Can anyone confirm a rumor that is circulating?....

Something about Dwight Freeney & an injury to his ankle or something? I've watched ESPN & NFL Network for days now and can't seem to get any information. Anyone know or hear about this? TIA.

Maybe someone can explain this to me, I'm not a medical professional.
Earlier this week it was reported he had a torn ligament in his ankle. Torn.
As of last night Freeney himself is saying it is feeling much better. And it is responding to treatment very well.
I'm no doctor, but I didn't think TORN ligaments can just magically heal themselves in a week.

ESPN is doing nothing but talking about the Saints. I don't even know who the Colts QB is because they never talk about them. ESPN must not think the Colts have a chance of winning at all.
