On nfl network- small tear/sprain not just a bruise. Luke likely to play against Dallas and beyond

@RapSheet: #Saints QB Drew Brees’ shoulder injury was called a bruise. I’m told it’s actually a rotator cuff sprain (indicates some structural damage)

So who appears first: Byrd, Brees or the Honey island Swamp Monster?

Well considering the RC is comprised of 4 tendons it would be a STRAIN... You can't sprain a tendon... May just be semantics or may be someone just trying to throw shite and hope it sticks so they can say they are correct.

It's a partial tear of the rotator cuff. Accept it and move on. It sucks, we are fricked. He will miss at least 4 games, and will try to play through it if it responds to rehab well.

Can you give a fricking link since you're telling us to accept it? I usually don't just take the word of some guy on a message board over what a doctor has said.

Rappaport is a moron.. take it with a grain of salt. Not sure what his future status but with him that close to playing today. Doubt he is out long

frick Luke McCown.

What was the fricking point of drafting Grayson? To give the practice squad entertainment?

Payton is a fricking retard.

I don't have a fricking link. I am sharing with you information that I was told by several people in the media and 2 people in the organization and I have been 100% right every time I have shared information regarding this, Junior, etc. In the future I will refrain...

To groom him for the future.

Come on dude. It's not as simple as "Grayson is a better potential talent so he should play!" ... McCown has been in this league a long time. He might not be that talented but at least he knows how to handle himself in this situation, and he has way more knowledge about the game, as well as this offense. Even if you told me right now that Grayson is the future 2nd greatest Saints QB of all time, I would still want McCown in this game. Grayson is not ready. The dude was playing in the Mountain West last year.

Not a shock that Payton can never give the media a straight answer when it comes to a player's injury.

I HIGHLY doubt after Brees was inspected by several doctors that if they told him it there was a tear/strain or whatever that he would of tried to practice/play this week at all. Pretty sure this is BS.
