I was at the game so I didn't see the replays on tv.

The INT that was thrown behind Devery and tipped into the air...was the ball tipped at the line before the Devery tip? I heard Drew's post game conference and he mentioned it was tipped at the line but I haven't seen any confirmation. A coworker is arguing that it wasn't and I'm only going off what Drew said on the radio.

No. He threw the ball a little behind Devery, and Devery tipped it into the air by putting a hand on it.

What Coco said.

It wasn't a good throw, but at the same time, Devery should have just batted it down in my opinion. If you know you can't catch it, you make sure the other guys can't.

Brees said it was tipped, then Devery tipped it. No link.

It looked like it was to me. The commentators didn't say anything about it, but I saw it.

Here's the video link

I think it gets tipped, barely by #56.

I said why in my post. I was discussing with a coworker. He was saying Brees was throwing balls behind receivers all night. After I made the post, I found the video on NFL.com.

FALSE. It was tipped at the line, you can see it change trajectory at the line. If not, it was going to be on the money.

I stand corrected. It was tipped.

It was definitely tipped. Not much, but it wouldn't take a lot to slow it down just enough so that a ball meant to hit Devery in stride would wind up behind him.
