I am assuming he would want about $4 million a year like Corey Graham got from the Bills.

I would be surprised if he leaves NE without a contract given their lack of depth at CB

I would rather pick someone up though cause you can't rely on a guy with injuries and inconsistency, not a huge fan of White.

WOOOOOWWWW RACIST

But seriously, I think he'd be a good signing. He was really good in Seattle's system the past couple of years, and the 4 game suspension will really just take his asking price down. He'll still be able to participate in pre-season and training camp etc. We'll need him for the later half of the season and we can definitely get by with PRob and White until then.

Robinson has been inconsistent at best. White is still TBD. If you can get a proven guy on the cheap with the only caveat is having to wait 4 games, you get him.
My point was that getting Browner was a good idea even with the 4 games suspended because we have either White or PRob to fill in during his suspension.

If we signed Browner, I would buy everyone aerosol spermicide, just to protect against the fapathon that ensues.

SIAP

From Tripp

According to ESPN NFL Insider John Clayton, the Saints are expected to host cornerback Brandon Browner on a free-agent visit at some point after he wraps up a visit with the Washington Redskins. Browner also visited Thursday with the New England Patriots.

And he list Browner at 6'4" 220?

The 4 games doesn't concern me. It's what comes next if he slips up again. Hopefully he has his shite together.

Because they should be more popular. We're losing our culture. We're bulldozing Abe Lincoln's house and putting up a strip mall.

We would be nuts not to make a competitive offer to get him in here. Him, Lewis, Prob, and White would a pretty damn good top 4. Especially with Byrd, Vaccaro, and Bush roaming around wreaking havoc.

I have no problem with having Browner. I have a problem signing a guy missing an entire quarter of the season, that if he screws up again he's done for a year....especially when we are in big need of a #2 CB.

1 year deal works for both parties, he comes here to up his value if he plays well and stays clean hits the FA market again next year with more power

He would be the #2 not the nickel.

If we sign him, we are in contention for best secondary in the league. Probably 2nd behind Seattle.
