Isn't it just a little bit funny all of the elation threads started when Payton announced he was staying, yet now the board is riddled with negativity? Oh what short attention spans and quick anger we all have here. We have gone from:

ST has become an absolute shitstorm. The negatards have taken over and ran most of the good posters away.
Here are 10 pages of fawning at our greatness due to Payton staying. Oh those were happy times JUST 7 MONTHS AGO.

but yeah there was a time when we could discuss things with rational criticism both good and bad. Sure there were some negafans here, but now they have become the majority and the norm. I still visit this board for updated information that I may miss in my news followings; however, it has become difficult to find through the wall of whiners that dominate ST.

I love the idea of hating on so called "nega fans" because some just choose to be real and say what they see. How does it make anyone less of a fan? Like if we won a game 17-14 and people wanted a blow out, yea I'd understand the criticism.
However, let's be honest with what the Saints are. We haven't won a pre-season game in 2 years now, whatever it's pre-season. It's the fact that our OL is an utter mess and Brees is going to get killed unless something changes. Our defense needs work, pure and simple. Whether it be talent or experience or depth, we need major help there.
What kills me about NFL front offices (most of them anyhow) is how they just stick to who they know. Numerous back ups and journey men continue to get contracts or workouts while all these hungry undrafted rookies or guys from Canada are just sitting out there. Now, I will state that I loved our draft this year and is definitely a step in the right direction but unless this defense pulls something out their asses that we haven't seen since 2013, we're not winning shite. We are a bad football team right now, I love the Saints but we are a bad team.
