That's just not this one either.... The entire NFL is like this right now. Feels like the 2:30 CBS games with all the damn breaks.

Almost unwatchable

The NFL is absolutely brutal to watch nowadays. If there is a CB that defends a pass, it's almost certain to get flagged. I was sure that Delvin Breaux was going to get a flag on every play in the endzone. He balled fairly decently last night even though he gave up the TD late...they just kept going his way and on fourth down, Weeden and Williams made great plays.

The refs were terrible both ways. It was amateur hour out there. Funny how both coaches realized the refs couldn't recognize a pick play and kept getting more and more aggressive with it.

Collinsworth was laughing at that pretty hard. They were setting some NY Knicks circa 1993 picks out there

When the ref said Ingram was short of the goal line by 6 inches, I had to laugh. How could they determine the exact distance? It was 1 inch if anything.

I find it funny they actually pull the chains over when the ball nears a first down marker.

That would make sense if the spot itself wasn't arbitrary.

Probably not the first time those refs said something was 6 inches when it was really 1.

Roger and the owners are to blame for the product.

Don't they do everything for the game to maintain it's integrity?

To me, the worst call was when the guy was out of bounds before he caught the ball and was flagged. Payton was forced to take the penalty and it remained third down. If he had declined the penalty, the refs would have spot the ball where the guy caught it illegally. It should have been a penalty and loss of down. At the very least it should have been declined with a loss of down at the original line of scrimmage. Am I wrong with the way I see this ruling?

he officiating wasn't totally stupid all game, but I cannot understand how they turned over Ingram's touchdown. In super-slow mo it was still not clear (due to the angle of the cameras) if he was in or not, and they reversed the call. Real head-scratcher there.

This was truly bad. It contradicts the purpose of instant replay. Whenever a ref has to say "the 6 inch line", then they need to just shut the frick up and let the play stand
