NFL.com NFC predictions

Each sports outlet puts out these predictions each year. I've learn to not pay them much mind or to get upset over them. This one is just insane.

Let me say the Falcons are a good team and could very well repeat as NFC south champs, but damn, a juggernaut with no weaknesses?

Every single writer picked the Falcons to repeat. I think one guy had us as a wildcard.

Their defense might be worse than ours this season.

That's it.

Their problems start with their OLine and are perpetuated by their defensive backfield.

And, honestly, I'm not too worried about Steven Jackson. Dude has had 300+ carries for years now. He is not near the RB he used to be. They will have to throw alot. Their OLine stops them from being able to throw down the field. Captain Checkdown returns.

Did we trade to get a RT?

Except their secondary might be bottom 5 in the league

or pass rush?

Or the fact they they have an unproven secondary.

The Falcons are a really good team, but they still have quite a few problems.

and pass rush
corners (your safeties are good)
smaller d-line which might get you runned over

I lost my shite when I was reading ESPN the Magazine's NFL Preview and they had the Saints at 6-10!!!! Really, we won 7 games last year without the best offensive mind in the NFL and the worst D in the history of time. The Falcons have great skill players but Matty Ice is a Goat and the are hardly the class of the NFC everyone makes them out to be. I can't wait to watch Drew and Coach Crossfit drop 50 on those bitches.

This does not bother me too much. I feel like we might have possibly gotten a slight upgrade with Umenyiora, or at least no worse. And during the preseason (I know, it means nothing), the rest of the line has looked better than last year.

Secondary scares me though, but hopefully our safeties can make up for the lack of depth at the cb position.

Yeah, the sucked at zone, and we had no pass rush.

They'll be better in man, but unfortunately, we still have Jenkins and Harper, and they'll probably play.

I am really interested in seeing yalls D this year.
I mean, looking at the brightside, there is no where to go but up.

I might be wrong on this, but since yall are playing in the 3-4, won't their be a good amount of times where LB's are covering WR's?

The New Orleans Sean Payton's. That team sounds funny. Does he play Defense?
