I think people are going to be treating us like we're the new dirty Oakland raiders. You know the raiders from the old days. The ones that whipped everybody's arse. Doesn't matter if they lost or not. Still whupped them.

Frankly I could give a crap what the rest of the sports world views the Saints as....
I've been a fan way too long to let some douchebag's view affect me, they can bitch all they want, I got the dvd with the Saints holding up the trophy, all I need
now about winning another.......well.....if the league drops flags on the saints like they did and do the Raiders....yeah maybe not but frick'em

I have no problem with the villain role. The breesus christ era was getting old anyway. Now we are going to be the team that is just too manly and violent for everyone else.
As far as the refs throwing more flags? I don't care as long as our offense is still as good. It doesn't matter, if our defense can get a hit, go for it. Opposing players might not be "scared" per say but they will probably have that worry of getting taken out in their heads when they run certain routes etc. It's not like a defense can get that much worse. It's not like our defense won any games for us recently.
Honestly, I'm excited about the defense this year. They can only go up from here. We have a new consistent game plan coordinator and some pieces with a lot of upside. There is potential there for sure imo. Our line is the only liability if we continue to address LB.
Once we lose this offense, it might be annoying though. Ask the raiders

I think people had already started to resent us, that is what happens most of the time when you have the type of success the Saints have had the past three seasons. I can't wait to come over for a few games this year, the Dome will be louder than ever.
