re: Are we completely overlooking the obvious at 15: Cornerback

Completely agree that we still need a CB. I mean look at the WRs in our division. Julio and Roddy, VJax and Mike Williams. They all are big and physically gifted.
I like Rhodes, but I think Trufant is a better pure cover CB. And DJ Hayden is a good player too.

I think CB, Safety, and WR are all more likely than OLB unless one is rated way higher
You don't rate Jones or Mingo higher than Vacarro, Patterson, or Austin?
For me Vacarro is a stretch pick at 15. Patterson or Austin fit that range but are no steals at all value wise. Mingo or Jones would be Top 10s that slip and provide better value regardless of need. Most prolly have Milliner as that kind of value. I rank him lower myself. Rhodes is okay for a #15 but not with a higher ranked Mingo or Jones on the board.

Not really about how much I like them.
I think if some of the CBs are still there, the Saints could like one about as much as any OLB that will be there. I agree WR and S would seem more a stretch, but I have no idea how the Saints have them rated.
They usually have a board that would make you scratch your head sometimes, so it wouldn't surprise or upset me.

I'm more comfortable w/ Greer, Robinson, Lewis, and White than Harper, Jenkins, whomever else is currently on the depth chart at Safety.

i'd rather reach for the best safety just to get one of the 2 sh!tbags we have off the field

I guess it would depend who's there. I think Rhodes would be an option for sure, he's perfect for what the Ryan's do...but Rex has 2 picks before we do and they need a corner now so he may be gone.
15 is too early for anyone else imo, but in the end it only matters where the Saints have people valued I guess.
Safety at 15 might be more reasonable if Rhodes is gone. Or someone looking to draft a safety could try to jump up and land Vaccaro.
