Or just full on rebuilding.

The roster and field product is a mess.

Trading away contributing members in a need area, for a third teamer.

Offense and defense seem confused.

Just a mess.

I just wonder if the Hicks trade is an indication that the FO has packed it on.

i would hope they didn't - i would be very disappointed if we did tank for the draft picks.

He had been benched. 2 stats in 98 snaps.

Serious question. Have you even watched/paid attention to a Saints game this season?

I heard they are tanking because they want to move to L.A. Brees said his kids hate the third down siren. So he and Payton talked to Godell who owes them one after the Bountygate fiasco and they got it all worked out.

wonder what kind of picks we could get for Brees? You think we could get a 1st or 2nd round pick?

And the TE he was traded for had fallen so far down the depth chart that he was inactive on Sunday.

A Saints team that came into this season as an already established bad team, though one that's correcting mistakes and constructing a winning team in the future, starts 0-3.

Okay? I never said we trade raped the Pats. I was responding to an inaccuracy

We traded him because he was no longer a contributor

Yeah because the Saints coaching staff doesn't want to keep their jobs. Caldwell and the staff was gone after they got Luck

Yes they are.

After Hicks hall of fame type play the first few games they benched him so he would be healthy in a trade.

The next player to be traded will be all pro safety Don Jones.

When you see this happen the season will truly be over.

Why waste a number one pick going to the Saints. Not like they'll do anything with it.

Exactly, I have to watch a lot of Bears stuff up here. Saints have at least been in all three games at the end. Bears don't even look like an NFL team.

Yeah, if the Saints are going to tank for first pick, they better try harder. The Bears might be 0-16.
