Is no one interested in him? I figured someone would have grabbed him pretty quick.

Maybe the saints could re-sign for cheap if there's not much interest.

The Ravens were rumored to be interested if they couldn't re-sign Forsett, but I think they re-signed Forsett.

But then they dumped Bernard Pierce after he got in trouble, so I don't know.

I don't see that happening unless he comes in for the min. We now have Ingram & Spiller, and Spiller is pretty good w/ the screens.

I think he will sit around until an injury happens in TC and a team suddenly has a need for a vet RB.

I thought he was gonna be a Patriots lock for sure.

I reeeeeally hope we bring him back right before the start of the season to save his body on a cheap deal.

He always played strong, against the Bears. Wish him the best. Hell of a Saint.

The crazy thing is that he would probably take vet minimum to be our #4 RB

no not a joke nor is it a criticism, he's all into the boxing scene right now... maybe that's just how he likes to train.... was just a thought as to how interested he truly is or isn't getting back into an NFL grind. He probably is but wouldnt' be too crazy for a RB who's made decent change to move on to do different things.

This wouldn't surprise me a bit. I think a lot of these guys realize the last few years can really take a physical toll. If he did a good job with his $$, walking away might be a great option. It wouldn't surprise me for him to enter private business or broadcasting in some form or fashion.

He and Deuce McCallister are my two all-time favorite Saints RB's. They both played and ran HARD on every play.

And, I say that even though I HATE Ole (52 years and counting) Miss.

Wouldn't shock me one bit. That and maybe he doesnt want to be crippled later in life. Either way I wish him the best. But people need to move on, we've upgraded.

If I were a veteran NFL running back, the last thing i'd be doing for a new career would be boxing. Training, perhaps. Livelihood, no.
