I'd call this good news considering the fears many had before the season and our best guy out with injury.

Concerning pass rush we have faced 3 of the top 8 O-lines in the first 4 weeks. Hope for improvement there.

9. New Orleans Saints (8)
Starters: LT Terron Armstead, LG Andrus Peat, C Max Unger, RG Jahri Evans, RT Zach Strief

Had Terron Armstead not missed time with injury, this line might have been ranked higher, but Andrus Peat at LT was a disaster against Atlanta trying to block Dwight Freeney, though he was far better the next week against San Diego. Peat and RG Jahri Evans have been the relative weak points along the line, but the other spots have quality starters playing well when they are on the field. The Saints have the league’s best pass-blocking efficiency score, at 87.8.

Have done better than we all thought. I believe much of this is because of the game planning for quicker throws and less time in the pocket. The coaches saw what happened in preseason as well.

Also who is that #77? Fullington is 77 on the PS but is/was no where near that weight. Dude is massive

PS Turner late?

The Saints have used this system the last couple of seasons. It is another reason that Brees continues to frequently have a completion percentage around 70%. This also allows the Saints to use this as a form of ball control. The one game that this wasn't the case was the opening game against the Raiders. In that game Brees worked the ball down the field to deep receivers and routes. It is the most aggressive they have been in years.

He had the highest deep accuracy in the NFL the past few seasons too. We haven't had near one of the lowest "time til throw" stats either. Tom Brady and Manning have dominated this statistic the past few years. Brady's is always ridiculous.

We've def gone with more quick passes this season, but it is something a lot of fans were calling for last year and weren't getting. Thomas seems to be the go to guy on a lot of them.

Pro Football Focus ? @PFF
Drew Brees was the most accurate passer on throws over 20 yards last season (50.6%)—sits at No. 78 on PFF's list of the top players of 2015.

Brees has not shown any signs of slowing down in other aspects of his game, either. Although he missed the Pro Bowl for the first time since 2007 last season, the veteran quarterback led the league in passing yards with 4,870. He finished second in overall completion percentage (68.3), sixth in yards-per-attempt average (7.77), sixth in passer rating (101.0) and tied for seventh in touchdown passes (32).

We've also attacked downfield a bit this season, but you had Fleener and Coleman drop at least 4 downfield targets against the Giants and Fleener barely missing another that would have been 6

And people question Brees and Payton's scheme

They mask a lot of deficiencies

Highly disagree on Peat being the weak link. He's given up 1 sack all year (vs Freeney) and has dominated the left side in the run game. Weakest links when the whole line has been in tact has been Strief and Evans.

Lelito is pathetic in the last two games as well.

They're basing it off of his time at LT, really the Atlanta game where he didn't play well, especially once Lelito came in next to him.

That is 25% of his population so far.

Are you saying Saints talk got a little over dramatic and turned into major vaginas during preseason about our Oline?

6. Denver Broncos (28)

Maybe the surprise O-line of the season—if that title doesn’t already belong to the Giants—the Broncos have seen massively-improved play across several spots. Matt Paradis has been the best center in the game so far this season, and the only poor performances have come from when they needed to go to the bench and start players like Ty Sambrailo, who has allowed seven total pressures in only 84 pass-blocking snaps. The Broncos’ offensive line has been a big reason for the relative success of QB Trevor Siemian and RB C.J. Anderson.
Whoa, nice. I didn't expect them to perform so well. I thought the offensive line would be a glaring weakness in 2016.

I attribute a lot of this to Brees's pocket awareness and movement. Even with that, the line has been a pleasant surprise.

I believe this picture was taken last year, so #77 would be Mike McGlynn.
