Nope....i still maintain my stance. The fact that you think AD gets more actually makes me feel much better about that.

Why are people even trying to make this a competition? The better they both do bodes well for us.

Ingram is going to get every opportunity to be the lead back. Is it possible he loses that job? Sure. But the difference in performance would have to be obvious and overwhelming. IMAO

Because he's 32 and has had multiple knee surgeries.
Minnesotas line was a shite show last year so he wont be that bad but you are also not getting the MVP peterson either.

Ingram cannot be a 300+ touch guy without getting dinged.
Peterson was a 300+ touch guy
Ingram is also a very versatile player who is above average in all 3 phases
Peterson is excellent at running the ball but average at best at the other two.
During our best season, bell had more carries than Thomas. Why? Because he was the closer to preserve Thomas in games we had won.
If we're winning, Peterson will get more touches because he's more durable and a better runner than Ingram when we close out games. That's his role, it's an extensive role.
Ingram cannot be a 300+ touch guy without getting dinged.

Even if AD gets more carries, Ingram will probably get more overall playing time because he's a better receiver and pass blocker. Some of you are seeming to forget AD has a bit of an injury history of his own and he is 32 and thus more prone to injury now than ever before. So I don't think SP wants to run him into the ground, he'll probably just split the carries to keep them both fresh.
